One of those crazy Sabrent Thunderbolt drives that get like 3 GB/s read and write. Another 8 TB Seagate, probably also for archives. 1 TB spinner, dunno what he uses it for. 2 TB Samsung T5, which I think is where he stores active projects, I haven't asked him specifically though. 
1 TB boot drive (yes, he went for 1 TB for his boot). As an example, there's a guy I know who has the following configuration, which is absolutely ridiculous: Obviously, depending on what you do, you might have more or fewer drives. If I fix it, I'll probably use that for archives, too. 20 TB server, which currently is having issues, so I'm not using it. I don't use this much, but I'll store the occasional VM and some archives on there My miscellaneous storage that I don't use very often: I have almost nothing on this drive, but it's nice in case I pull out my Bootcamp drive, which I do every once in a while. 1 TB ExFAT-formatted spinner - for compatibility with Windows/Linux. 4 TB external hard drive, for archived projects (some active projects that won't fit on the 1 TB SSD are on here, too). This is also my Time Machine backup drive for my MacBook Air.
